School Day/Hours
7:30 AM-2:20 PM
The school will be opened each day at 7:10 a.m. Grade 9 and 10 students will report to the cafeteria foyer. Grade 11 and 12 students will report to the main office foyer. Once students have entered the building, they will not be permitted to leave without the expressed permission of an administrator. The School Department shall not be responsible for the supervision, health, safety, or general welfare of any student arriving before 7:10 a.m. Students who walk or are driven to school cannot expect services before 7:10 a.m.
The school day for students ends at 2:20 PM. Students who remain in school after 2:20 must be involved in a supervised activity.

NSHS Graduation Requirements
North Smithfield High School provides access to expert and rigorous instruction so that all students can demonstrate proficiency. Students have a responsibility to actively and appropriately participate in and complete, with a demonstration of quality work, all facets of their program of studies. A North Smithfield High School Diploma, including Endorsements and Seals, will be issued when all of the following
academic credit, standardized assessment, and proficiency-based requirements have been met.
